Julie is a highly experienced psychodrama psychotherapist, registered with the British Psychodrama Association, and the UK Council for Psychotherapy. She’s also a qualified group analytic psychotherapist, and an educator with an international career spanning clinical work, lecturing, training & facilitation, and the arts.
As a creative practitioner who works holistically, Julie uses a bespoke approach where clients are offered a treatment program specific to their needs and goals, and she draws on other modalities and approaches to augment her work. These include arts therapies, mindfulness & compassion, positive psychology, CBT, depth psychology, dream analysis, trans-generational and ancestral processing, and strategic couple enhancement. She has extensive experience working with veterans and their families, and operates from a trauma informed practise model with all clients who have experienced trauma, including early years trauma, sexual assault, bullying, accident, intimate partner violence, and war. Her work settings have included prisons, hospitals, schools, universities, theatres, and government & non-government agencies in the arts and health sectors. Julie conducts a unique weekly psychotherapy group in London, where psychodrama and group analysis are offered on alternate evenings. She runs her individual practise from the Tree of Life Clinic in Fitzrovia, where she is available to see clients during business and after hours. Julie also offers online consultations.
